Brazil's SAYOWA Confirmed For Spain's ATARFE VEGA ROCK Festival

Brazil's SAYOWA have been confirmed for the 2005 edition of Spain's Atarfe Vega Rock festival, set to take place February 25-26 at Nave Medina Elvira in Atarfe, Granada. Other bands scheduled to appear at the festival include MEGADETH, PARADISE LOST, FEAR FACTORY, EUROPE, RAGE, U.D.O., THERION, BONFIRE, ANATHEMA, HAGGARD, SUIDAKRA, EDGUY and AGATHODAIMON.

SAYOWA, which means "brother" in Akawaio (the language of an indigenous tribe from the north of Brazil),recently completed work on their debut album for a tentative February release. The CD includes a guest appearance on led guitar on three songs by SEPULTURA's Andreas Kisser. In addition, BIOHAZARD guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei remixed one of SAYOWA's songs at his studio in New York for inclusion on the album.
